Our Founder

About Kim

With a BSc (Hons) in Hotel and Catering Management, trained in London and Paris, I began my career with a strong foundation in hospitality and wellbeing. In 1999, I opened a juice bar in London, followed by a brief stint in TV and film before retraining in gourmet raw foods.

In 2004, I trained in Pilates with Alan Herdman in London, and further expanded my practice in Chiang Mai, Thailand, studying Thai Yoga Massage. These disciplines shape my unique, hands-on teaching style, blending movement with assisted stretching and bodywork.

After relocating to New York in 2008, I brought together my experience in nutrition, movement, and client care to create a holistic approach to wellbeing. I opened my first studio in 2012 and a second in 2018, creating spaces that not only support my clients but also serve as a home for like-minded practitioners to work with their own private clients, sharing a common philosophy of personalised, intuitive, and results-driven practice.

Maureen Fergus

Pilates Instructor

Maureen Fergus

Maureen Fergus began teaching Pilates in 2013 after receiving her mat certification from Pilates Academy International. She continued on to get her apparatus training and certification while teaching group fitness classes and working as a personal trainer in a New York City gym. She used the precision of Pilates to teach people how to move safely and effectively. Maureen has devoted herself to helping people change their bodies, their lives and their health. She is firm believer that movement isn’t just in the gym or the Pilates studio, and works to give her students the tools they need to take out into the world to continually develop better flexibility and posture. Maureen approaches her instruction with the understanding that every person is an individual with different needs. She is adept at working with students who have post-rehabilitation needs and, while she sees her clients as an “ageless population,” she is experienced working with seniors.
